Richard Olsen
Chairman
As Chairman of Orion’s Board, Richard Olsen oversees all aspects of the company. He has over 30 years’ experience in the industry, with detailed market knowledge across the entire investment and development spectrum.
His business model is simple: listen to how people really want to lead their lives; pay meticulous attention to design and planning; think of the future; be tenacious; deliver what we say we will, when we say we will and always act with integrity.
Jean Hyatt
Co-Founder
Jean Hyatt has a wealth of experience at the highest corporate level, and has been Richard’s business partner for over a decade on projects that include The Royal Opera House, The London Music School, and the Cardiff International Sports Village.
Jean is passionate about Orion’s responsibility to improve people’s lives through good design and innovative solutions.
Overseeing communication with all stakeholders and public engagement with local communities, Jean ensures their vision, creativity and ambition is balanced with pragmatism.
Jason Fielden
Managing Director
Jason Fielden has been with Orion since day one, his background in banking and his attention to detail has been a contributing factor to Orion’s success. Jason’s primary responsibility is to work with Richard to deliver Orion’s business strategy and ensure the continued growth of the group. He manages the day-to-day operations and ensures the appropriate resources and support is available across the whole company.
Jason also leads on certain key projects and takes a creative approach to their delivery.
Prior to joining Richard and Jean to start Orion, Jason worked as Area Director in Retail Banking at Royal Bank of Scotland plc.
Mike Griffiths
Associate and Orion’s Development Advisor
Formerly Chief Executive of Land Securities Development, Mike has over 30 years of industry experience across a wide spectrum of development areas.
Mike’s involvement at concept stage right through to practical completion ensures all development risks are managed intensively to ensure Orion’s schemes are delivered ‘On Time and On Budget’.
Chris Horn
Director of Regeneration
Chris Horn has recently joined the company as Director of Regeneration. Chris was formerly Head of Property and Regeneration at the London Borough of Southwark, where he led the team responsible for the planning and bid process for the regeneration of the Elephant & Castle, one of the largest re-development projects in Europe. Chris has advised on other large-scale projects, including the Olympics and the iconic Shard of Glass development at London Bridge.
David Bruce
Solicitor
David Bruce has over twenty years of legal experience in private practice and industry. His extensive property and corporate knowledge is used in all aspects of Orion’s business. David also takes the role of Project Director on a number of projects.
