Shepherds Bush Market
Orion’s approach to development is demonstrated in our plans for the regeneration of Sheperds Bush Market. This historic market lies at the heart of the scheme, by adopting a truly collaborative approach between Hammersmith & Fulham Council, market traders, local resident and the wider community, we have designed a scheme in which all stakeholders can take pride.
The idea behind the scheme is to build on the market’s history to deliver a vibrant and lively new area – a place to experience local market shopping and enjoy newly recreated bars and restaurants. The much loved Bush theatre, in its beautifully restored location of the old Victorian Bush Library, forms an integral part of our new theatre square.
In additon there will be some 200 new homes including 20 town houses – a “cool” location to be part of.
Outline planning for this prestigious scheme was achived on the 8th February 2012 and we intend to start work on site in January 2014.
When completed the development will bring economic benefit to the local community creating much needed new jobs.
